your most favorite bassist/drummer rhythm section

Dang there are to many. These two fellas have fun just drums and bass . I love grooving to these efforts-here's a couple. I can't watch them without getting on my kit and play along too. Yee Haw.

A current favorite pair is Steven Bidwell (drums) and Brendon Bond (bass) with the Black Pumas. Super relaxed, laid back feel. Catch the funk especially at 2:45!

Bruce/Baker
The extended jams and outros on Cream Live Volume II solidified me on them.

White Room queued up at 3:51

and Deserted Cities Of The Heart queued up at about 2:00

and Tales Of Brave Ulysses queued up at 2:30

Listen to that phenomenal rhythm section... you just have to ignore Eric Clapton's horrible lead and wah-wah:giggle:
Also a big fan of Jack Bruce and Corky Laing

Mel Schacher and Don Brewer
Good 'ol meat and potatoes rock!

Rex Brown/Vinnie Paul
Flea/Chad Smith

Still nursing a recalcitrant virus (so reading through the General Discussion to amuse myself as I haven't got the energy to actually sit behind the kit) so another thread resurrection. I read the entire thread and may have missed it but has anybody mentioned Fleetwood/McVie? My favourite amalgam of the band was pre-Buckingham/Nicks though I thought they were all pretty good in their own way.
