Can you actually reach all those cymbals?
Actually it's quite ergonomic. The floor tom and the hats right above it are a reach only because of how far I have to turn to the right.

If my memory is correct, there was a certain mod here many years ago who held very strong opinions about unorthodox tom angles. Me? I like 'em.

that's actually 3 sets I got rid of one of the big rides and may have added 2 small ones..
That's over. Very limited usage. Most of the musicians they suited have gone on to ahem, greener pastures

Slight changes, nothing major: 16" floor tom is back (now that I'm using reso heads, it fits in much better), new ride, rack tom has its own stand.
I was looking for inspiration on the internet and it was startling to see how many rock drummers have a setup similar - nay, identical to that. You can find pictures of Joey Kramer, Matt Sorum, Pat Torpey etc. etc. Highly suspicious, I tell you. I may have to start a thread on that...
