There was but one 60s series (besides the single lug Playboy series)

Looks like a Moonglow 1968 20/12/14 or.... he's just after my stuff!
could be an 18" but I can't imagine

even tho Rogers Leedy Slingerland Ludwig even Premier and Sonor were also that early blues and Motown sound, a sixties Gretsch set just pops that sound out like it is Yesterday.

And nobody does the Satin Flame anymore like it was done in the 60s the "Flame back then" were "long even sweeps" not like today's squiggle versions

The toms and bass drum are Moonglow Satin Flame, the snare is Aqua Satin Flame. The drums are likely from the late 60's, or early 70's. Sizes are 12/14/20.

Moonglow is pretty rare. Aqua is as well, on Gretsch drums. Steve has always had various vintage Gretsch sets at his disposal.

That lady looks like Carla Thomas, but I'm not sure.

2021 ish..

Yamaha are history?
That verdict is still out.

He uses gretsch Because of Charlie.

But also still uses Yamaha (Crosstown) hardware.

On his last JM tour he still used the big Oriental Gold Yamaha kit (but also the the Rogers at the B stage, and he uses a DW hihat for a while now too).

But I wouldn’t be surprised of he will go to Gretsch as a drums artist and a Yamaha or DW Hardware artist.

Great looking old kit. So he’s playing a 20 inch bass drum this tour? Interesting.
That looked like a Keith gig
(the Stones was a 24")

It was a smaller Blues Festival gig I saw other pics posted on scattered on FB
yesterday
