I'm seeing multiple posts on Facebook that Dom has passed. A true ambassador to the drumming community and a real sweetheart.

He interviewed me for The Sessions in 2018. I'd known Dom for many years, and the interview was really more of a nice chat between us. Very comfortable, and maybe the best interview I've ever done.

Rest In Percussion.

I met him once at a drum clinic here in Seminole Florida, and was introduced to him by Paul Quin, and from that first hand shake it was if he had known me for ever. God bless , and thoughts to his family and friends. A huge loss to the drumming world.

This was Dom at that clinic. The young man is holding a snare training device. Dom showed him a few things and the young guy played them back, and at the end Dom gave the device to the young man, and you should have seen his face. I guarantee this young man will never forget Dom.

Oh, no. He had such a kind heart. I had the greatest conversation with him many years ago. We were on the floor at NAMM, and he insisted that we go into a private room in one of the exhibitor's booths so that we could sit down and have a proper chat. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. I will always remember him fondly.

man, that is huge!!! All the cats in heaven are hopefully welcoming that wisdom home up there now!! Peace to his friends and family

So sad to hear this. I didn’t know he was sick. RIP, Dom.

Dom was an exceptional role model. Condolences to family, friends and his students.
