Fun! The ending reminded me of Michael Schrieve at Woodstock!I am here as a bassist with a recording studio and questions, but thought youd like to hear my rhythm section brother Matt Alling at a recent gig.

I like the snare!Private Christmas party out in the country. First time using my 15" 602 ME hats with this band and they sounded AMAZING! My new favorite.
And first time with the Ludwig salesman snare. Love it!

I was a ringer for the Colgate University Jazz Ensemble today. I brought my Manu Katche Hip Gig Jr with some Paistes. Worked great in that VERY boomy, bass-y room.
Who's Beth Chaney?First gig of the new year a coupla nights ago. Usual suspects except for cymbals. It was an larger outdoor venue so I decided to bring some big’uns. 17” Steve Jordan copycats, 24” Giant Beat and my 21” Light Dark. As a little tip of the cap to Charlie circa ‘68-‘77, I’m also leaving off the left side cymbal out for the foreseeable future. I like the thought process it stimulates.

Who's Beth Chaney?
Ohh ok haha, that make a more sense. There’s a mural on the side of the building we were butted up to. Beth painted the mural. Local artist.
I bet it sounded great, too.We were set up in a barn.
