Just hearing that Aaron Spears has passed. I don't know the details, but it's posted on his instagram.

Oh, this is very sad! My condolences to his family. He was such a great drummer and very nice guy!

Aaron Spears has passed away tragically on Monday, October 30, 2023.

He died leaving many hearts scarred after learning of his sudden death. He will always be missed by the music community and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him during the course of his life. He was one of my best friends in our Drummerworld Community.

No cause of death was released.

only knew him thru his Vic Firth signature drumsticks (how I got them I can't recall) but I do know
they are a pair I thought I could use/ at least on the pad/ they have (what I called) "blind eye" tip.
Always kept them with my "better" sized and unique sticks. Nice (excellent) balance too
