20" or 22" kick

If he were alive today, how do we know Bonham wouldn't be playing acoustic jazz? :)
 
Is it a question of sound or volume. With the E Street Band Max Weinberg uses a 20" and Jay uses a 24" - go figure...
 
Just to add to the thread...I also have a 20-----And a 22....For me i love them both.love the low of the 22.But love the ease of gigging with the 20..For sound the 20 has punch and the 22 has more thud..........If i had to pick one with the smaller places i always take the 20....If its a bigger gig then im packing the 22...I used to have a 24 that thing was a pain to carry around..........Nothing bigger than a 22 for me........Cheers
