The documentary illustrated that it was about members of the band, or that's the way I understood it.

A bit obscure but very poignant, "Just Another Town" by Flo & Eddie. Really more about being on tour.

 
Ozzy has several, though they are more about his experiences as a rockstar on the road than a general song about life on the road:
