Steve Moore

I've known Steve for a while, and he's a great guy. Yes it's a gimmick, but he pulls it off well and his playing is solid. If you close your eyes, you'd never know he was flailing about. He was the star of that band and they used to do 200+ gigs a year.

Not sure, but he's certainly less visible than he was before.

I'm not saying he should stay with a band if he felt he needed to pursue something else, but he's still remembered for those older gigs. He even left Ludwig's artist roster to return to Tama where he'd been before. I guess he just wanted some changes in his life/career?
 
200 gigs a year can't blame him. He's obviously a talented player and it's total schtick/gimmick/comedy. Love to hear some serious music from him too sometime.
