You, sir have excellent taste.I had a ‘79 YD-9000, Made in Taiwan. One of the greatest sets I’ve ever owned. The ONLY reason I got rid of it was to get my early-80’s 9000GA MIJ set. Build quality was exactly the same. The GA set is also a bank of 11 drums, which affords me nearly limitless setup options. Here’s a pic of the YD in the background and the 12-14-20 GA in the foreground.

As mentioned, the only reason I got rid of the YD drums were because the GA drums are in the same sizes plus a bunch more. Here’s the full bank of GA drums.
