The big one on the far left is a TuffBox case w/retractable handle I found new on eBay. The case next to it is a 14x 6.5 square Humes and Berg Enduro case.
After a family move around in the house all my functional snares are in one place
Reading left to right:
Mystery snare - 5x14 cherry
Beverley 21 - 5x15 aluminium
Yamaha maple custom - 5.5x14 maple
Pearl Dennis Chambers - 6.5x14 maple
John grey Broadway - 4x14 birch?
Premier 2000 - 5x14 aluminium
Tunable bodhran - 4x14
Snares:
1970’s Premier 2000 COA 14x5
1980’s Premier APK 1006 COS 14x6.5
1990’s Tama Power Metal Brass 14x6.5
Gretsch Maple 14x5
Ludwig Black Magic NOB 14x8
WorldMax BNOB 14x6.5
Snares:
1970’s Premier 2000 COA 14x5
1980’s Premier APK 1006 COS 14x6.5
1990’s Tama Power Metal Brass 14x6.5
Gretsch Maple 14x5
Ludwig Black Magic NOB 14x8
WorldMax BNOB 14x6.5
Nothing fancy here, these are the current collection if 4 constitutes such a thing.
1960’s Pearl 8-lug steel 14x6
1990’’s Tama Rockstar maple 10-lug 14x3
2010’s Yamaha Stage Custom birch 10-lug 14x6
2000’s Tama Starclassic 10-lug 14x6
Now I just need one each from the 70’s and 80’s. Maybe I’ll stumble upon a mid 1980’s Tama 14x7 chrome over steel like I had in high school for cheap. And it would be cool to own a 70’s Sonor or Ludwig snare.
Question:
Why having them in hard case while the price of the hard case could buy some very nice display, closed, but with glasses and so on, and shelves.... So, you could look at them all the time.what we see is just boxes when I'm sure there is some Jewels in there, right?
