Finally trying a DynaSonic!

I had two Dynasonics years ago, and like Stroman, never got the hang of the adjustments. To me, they didn't sound all that impressive, but I was probably not dealing with the strainer mechanism correctly. I should try another one. Good catch, Bo. Really clean.

I actually replaced both hoops because the originals were slightly bent. Then I decided to get a brand new rail with new snare wires. Once those are on, the drum should adjust like new. My buddy , drummer Jimmy Ford, put up a YouTube video on how to adjust the snare wires - very informative.

I miss my 6.5. I picked it up about 20 years ago, before they cost a fortune. If you take the time to set them up properly, they're fantastic.
