I stopped playing for 20 years. Started back into it gradually, doing fill-ins occasionally, then back into a part-time band. Now I'm playing virtually every weekend. Loving every minute of it.
Can I do everything I did 30 years ago, probably not. Some things better, too, tho... Can it be difficult, nearing 60, working full time and then running to a gig? Yes. But again, it's such a thrill. Gonna keep doing it till I can't.
