Perusing my local Craigslist, I came across this ad for a Sonor snare with such stunning photography, it practically moved me to tears.

Seriously, how is this even possible?

Ive come across some of that same exquisite photography while perusing Craigslist for gear. Some of the photos are so beautiful that it must follow that saying .... “beauty is in the eye of the beholder “ , and these are always some of my favorite( Ummmm pictures ? )on CL . Must be closely related to your guy lol ?.

I didn't see any photos in that CL link.

Looooool, amazing photos, can't believe it hasn't sold already ?
Lol, that's why I posted the Craigslist link instead of downloading the photos and posting those—that ad will be up forever! And if I had only posted the photos, I don't think anyone would believe that it was from a legit ad and that I wasn't just making it up to have a laugh.

Seriously, I could blindfold myself and take better photos than that. Even the worst smartphone can take WAY better photos than that. Hell, I bet a 2001 flip-phone could take better photos! How is it even possible that someone legitimately trying to sell a piece of gear could upload such horrid pictures?

My point exactly , as it relates to Craigslist photography, or ...... the lack there of ?

My point exactly , as it relates to craigslist ads and the photography or the lack there of ?.

The only thing worse than the bad photography of someone selling something is the missing photography ?. That and the horrible descriptions and lack of those also.

How they think they’ll get any response is beyond me ?

Facebook Marketplace is a goldmine for that kind of silliness these days, especially for kits being set up in the weirdest ways imaginable ? I know this probably belonged to someone else and not the "photographer"/poster who isn't a drummer but what the hell happened here ??

Loving the angle on the bass drum beater.

A phone pic I took during a Stainless kit restoration that turned out surprisingly good.

Nice shot ! I took a few pics of my Supra cleaning and resto with an I phone 6 and was pleased with how they came out also . Really don’t get the horrible pics in CL and other ads where people are selling stuff . I’ve taken pics that came out better with those old disposable cameras when they first came out.
