Those 2 because of emotion they put into music. Thats just what i want to do, put my heart in my music. If only me notice, idk, i play for me! :)

Also Jojo Mayer is one of my favorite because he is what he is, a MACHINE :p

Id have to say Virgil Donati. This guy can do a single stroke roll, move his feet faster than anyone ive ever seen, and hes absolutely amazing moving around the set

I adore Jeff Hamilton. I love his work with Ray Brown and Diana Krall! It's thanx to him that I started drums!

4 me, my fav drummer is travis barker from blink 182... his beats r real groovy... neil pert is cool too...

put down your own list of "the best" drummers it doesnt has to by a good drummerit can also by just a insperation ore the good looks ( idont kown) what ever works for you

lars ulrich - i realy like the style
steve gadd - realy realy good
nicko macbrain - great style and techniek
jan van nieuwenhuizen - my drumtheacher he is realy good every time i think of something he kowns it or can play it in 2 sec hahah

But recently I came across a drummer named Derek Bloom, hes a waste of a great drummer in a punk rock type of band From First to Last, but he's good, his band just sucks ass.Look into it, download a few of their songs and listen to him play.
