I don't think I ever posted them here.
Always happy for another gander, regardless. Love your kit......right up next to Karl's on my 'forum favourites' list.

Would a third floor tom be too much?
Wouldn't hurt, but if you really want to "Karl-ify" that kit, you need a gong!!
The Ludwig Classic Maple "white marine pearl" evolution.
I'm still missing the additional 22" x 16" bass drum which will be ordered soon. And no, I've never gigged with all seven pieces at the same time, it's usually just five. This just gives me a matching shell pack from which I can pick and choose to match any specific venue. It works out really well and after five, ten or twenty years when the finishes start to age, all the shells should still match one another.
I'm now using Evans G1 coated over G1 clear heads on the toms.

Lots of great looking drum kits here!
Here's mine:
I wanted the drums to really sing, So I went with the classic mini lugs
The red glass glitter looks awesome!I love the mini lugs, too! It makes the kit FEEL bigger, even though it's not.
finally got rid of the DW Classic Series Kit...Went with the Ludwig Classic Maples. Here is what they look like. They sound great, and I think they look sharp.
Here's my vintage 6x13 3-ply maple snare. It's got 11 strand wires on it right now. From the serial number and the guide on the Ludwig site I believe it's from the late 60's. The serial number is 3311735. If any Ludwig experts could help me out with the date that would be fantastic.
