Xp 100/ 120 button on side

I have this on my set up with the 502 module and it doesn’t seem to make any difference when I turn it - do I need to set it up first on the module and is it then effective? It didn’t work on my previous DTX6 module either..it’s the big black knob.

And on the xtreme iii/900 module you can assign it as an direct fx button too.

on the 700 and 900 it acts as a tuning knob, you can turn it to change the specific tuning of the pad. don’t know if it works in the 502, but try to go to the drum selection menu and then try turning it while playing the drum

Looking at the manual…. It seems I should be able to adjust.
