I've got a Roland TD-4, and the hi-hat pad just automatically chokes after a hit. I tried replacing the pad with a PD-7 tom pad and it works fine without auto-choking, so i assume something is wrong with the pad. Any way to get around this? Disabling the choking function in that specific pad somehow? Or opening it up to see if there's something dangling around in there?
Note: It's not -closing- the hi hat, it's just choking it (if i replace the sound of the hi-hat with a crash, for example, that pad will choke it after a hit)
