Rack Snare Drum Stand

I have always had problems with snare drum stand legs not fitting where I wanted them to. It seems to always hit the bass drum pedal and I could never get it in the right position. So after some thought I came up with this mod. I took one of the side arms of my Gibraltar curved rack and clamped it to the base of it then took the base off of my snare stand and clamped it to the curved arm. It really opened up the area around my pedals, seems to be very adjustable and sturdy.

Great Idea! I don't use a rack, But I feel your pain! I constantly move my snare stand out of the way. Im surprised that it is sturdy.

That looks great, you should check out the stealth rack from Gibraltar, I've been using that for a while.

That is cool. I knew there would have to be something that addressed the problem! I think DW and Gibraltar have a snare stand with offset legs to get them out of the way too.
