New Snare.....GAS has flared up again

Just picked this up about a week ago for my son's kit.......got a great deal on it. All I can say is WOW....it is beautiful and sounds great........it is a "Bearing Edge" 10 ply maple with maccasser ebony interior and exterior....has brass lugs, puresound snares and a trick throw......absolutely love it. Sounds as great as it looks

Let me know what you guys think....

Thanks Kettles......it is an Aquarian clear head....not sure which, as I've never used their heads.....I was going to replace it immediately when I saw it, but it tuned up easy and sounds great.....I'll leave it on for a bit

The head is an Aquarian Studio X.........sounds pretty good. From what I gather, it is normally used for toms and is not a typical snare head.....
