bosman Senior Member Apr 4, 2014 #3 Re: Metronomes? Any of the dr beat metronomes are good. I haven't tried the tama metronome. My favorite is the "metron" app for iOS. Mike Mangini uses the "tempo advance" app. It looks like it has some good features.

Otherwise, I use my old Alesis drum machine and I've just downloaded the Polynome app which is fantastic. http://www.polynome.net/ There are several other apps that look good too and most are free. IIRC, Mike Johnston uses the Virtual Metronome app.

double_G Silver Member Apr 4, 2014 #6 i like Polynome, Petersons Body Beat & of course Dr beat. the newest Dr. beat is pretty bad ass.
