looking for used DW kit: cost?

any idea how much could i expect to pay for a 3 piece (20/12/14) used DW kit cost? maple, not sure if i would want collector's, jazz or classics series but may also depend on cost...
 
My guess is your best price will be on a Collectors kit since the others have not been around very long. There are deals to be had, just keep your eyes open. I saw a really nice used 5 piece at the GC near me a few weeks ago. I was shocked at the price, only $1300.00, and it as Keller shells. So just be patent.

And believe me they will be worth every penny ;-)
 
You would be smart to check local classifieds first, because you might get someone that doesn't know the value of a DW. After that head onto Ebay and music stores. DW's tend to keep their value reasonably well, get a quote on the same kit directly from DW to see if the asking price is depreciated enough.
