I found them a little while ago via instagram. Very cool, they make a full rich sound with a small 3 or 4 piece combo. Very organic and with pleasing influences and groovy energy.
The name drives me nuts though! It’s “The Los Angeles League of Musicians”, as though their quartet represents all the musicians in LA. And of course as a Latino act one would think it was “La Lom”, but no! It’s “The LA LOM”. Makes me wince to say it.
