Moral of the story: cheap(-ish) drums can look cool too! 😏
(Atleast imho it looks cool, waiting for your opinions)
Also it's such a powerful feeling to sit down behind a decent kit in a big room like this and just go for it...

Very nice looking set up! It's interesting that you use the offset rack toms positioning on a stand, yet you still keep the ride up higher as if both toms were mounted on the bass drum. Most people I have seen use the offset rack tom set up so they can keep their ride low and horizontal (like playing a 4 piece). Interesting take on it. I'm not usually a fan of offset rack toms but this set up looks cool (yours too Al Strange)!

Yyeeah, I do the offset toms because I hate to have that extra space between the 10" and the hihat. I also like to have access to that tom with the left hand, I like to play flams and stuff.
 
That's a real contraption you've got rigged up to hold the toms/cymbals. I see 5 shafts there. It looks good though. (y)

Yup, 5th one is for a splash, I've broken it tho, so no splash rn 😆

And yup, gotta have 2 floors.
