Hi all, looking for someone in philadelphia,PA.Interested in jazz(especially independance development) moeller tech.(paradiddles have reached a plateau) and odd meters and perhaps timpani.Please let me know if i have to elaborate on my skill level.thanx all in advance.
 
Anyone currently or recently taking lessons from an instructor in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina? I am specifically looking for someone who can teach an intermediate-advanced to advanced drummer. Any suggestions based on your experience with an instructor is appreciated.

I strongly reccommend John Hanks, the drumset instructor at Duke University. His email is [email protected] Tell him that Tom Smith's son Matt steered you to him.

Thomas Taylor at North Carolina Central is another great teacher if John doesn't pan out. Use the same introduction.
