Haha...no, Sabians and Paiste. But I do unfortunately jam on some planet z's when I play the church kit. They are not good sounding, but when using "hot rods" or brushes you can kinda hear something that almost resembles a cymbal.
Drums: Tama (although I hate just about every finish) and Ludwig
Cymbals: Paiste and Zildjian
Hardware: No preference on cymbal stands because I would rather save up buy expensive drums than the things that have nothing to do with sound. I love my Ludwig Speed King. If I had to choose one company though I would probably go DW
Heads: Remo. I like emperor coated but pinstripes are nice too.
Forgot to mention the Sonor SQ2 earlier. Just as many customization options as SJC but with a more well known name on show. Most of the time you're just paying for the name since you can completely change a drums sound with just a batter head alone and if you use that kit for recording and gigging then mics, gates, EQ's and such will just blitz it with the 'perfect' drum sound for those situations.
So i still stand by my choice to go for custom looks.
