They are entry level but they can still sound pretty darn good. The AQX shells are made out of Poplar wood.
$450 is a killer price!

They are entry level but they are still quality build. $450 for a brand new 5pc kit with hardware? No brainer for anyone looking for a back up kit, beater kit, rehearsal kit, etc. You could sell that crappy cymbal set new in box for $50. If you don't need the hardware then sell that new in box for $100. Boom, brand new 5pc kit for $300.
