Current Status: 39 yo Software Engineer who hasn't played in 5+ years. Looking at a new kit, or a way to get my old kit out of storage from the west coast.

Equipment (in storage):
TAMA Granstar Custom (1987) in Cherry Wine laquer finish: 22BD, 8TT, 10TT, 12TT, 13TT, 14FT (all deep), and 6.5x14 matching SD​
Zildjian/Paiste/Sabian cymbals, Zildjian 14" New Beat HH, Zildjian 14" Quick Beat HH​
Hardware is all TAMA except Ludwig Speedking pedal​

how did you start drumming? Wanted to drum since I was about 11 just from listening to music, and taught myself to play using internet tabs, common sense, and watching other drummers. Don't talk to me in techincal words because I have no idea what you're on about. I can, however, play surprisingly well for me - I usually suck at everything.

How did you start drumming? Actually, watching and listening to the Monkees inspired me. Then I learned a little from an older musical genius friend and taught myself the rest. As I should know, I still do have a lot more to learn.

Hello, my name's Guillermo... I am a regular at other forums for some years, yet didn't know drummerworld had one... I have been enjoying this site since it started and think it's great!

I know I will learn a lot from the drummers here... and I hope to get to know the fine people that come here.
