For straight up doom/sludge metal I'd probably go:

I wish to update this. Now I'm using Zildjian A 17" thin crashes for hi-hats, and a K. Zildjian 22" Light Ride.

Hats:

Lighter - 2 x tops together - K Con and a New Beat
Heavier - New Beats together or KCon w/ New Beat Bottom

Crashes:

19" Kerope or 20" Johan VDS

Rides:

2 x 22" Keropes (one thin @ 2100g and one medium-thin at 2452g)
1 x 20" Kerope Medium (2180g)
1 x 20" K Heavy (plenty g)

This gets me wherever I need to go...
