8 lugs on the Thermo Gloss would say it's a 12x15.
I have a 12x14 tom, and it looks "skinnier" than the Bonham/Appice tom (straight on, or angled).
I have some questions out to someone who would know, so we can get the real scoop.
If it IS a 12x14, that'd be news to me.
Michael Derosier had the same Ludwig TG Maple kit as Bonham/Appice back in the early days of Heart, and he had a 12x15 and then a 10x14. After the Maple, Derosier's kits had a 10x14.
MD had the tymps and gong, but he also had some North toms over the ft's and a bell tree with a custom holder. he had chimes too for a while. That kit looked totally kick ass.
One of my all time faves.
