Sorry - we’re considering downsizing into a smaller domicile to be closer to family so we may be having a fire sale once my real estate team engages. But I’m sure this kit will take a while to sell.Just saw these drums back up for sale. I silently wept.
I have a considerable amount of disdain for those types of people nowadays. They drive me nuts - I think they’d make better museum curators than players.I’m recutting my old a Slingerlands soon , partly to mess with the purists on the FB group … They went nuts when I stuffed my lugs with felt ….
I have a 3-ply Slingerland snare from 1958 that's in great condition, but it sounds boxy. I've thought about having the edges recut.I’m recutting my old a Slingerlands soon , partly to mess with the purists on the FB group … They went nuts when I stuffed my lugs with felt ….

Would I rather have an unmodified drum that retains it's "full value".....or do I want a drum that actually sounds good? I think I would prefer the latter tbh.
