HELP in buying an e kit, roland td-10

i live in an apartment now with neighbors at every wall so Im selling my acoustic to get e-drums.

what I found was a roland td-10 for a fair price.
it is this kit below, seems older.

what do you think about this kit? why are the cymbals pads like this, instead of the v cymbals. (which is the main thing offputting me) how is this kit? and should I buy it for $800? suggestions, comments?

I had this kit but it did have the V cymbals at the time. The sounds in the module are what makes it a good kit though. You can always upgrade your pads later. On eBay the kits with the V cymbals seem to sell at above 1500 so 800 isn't bad if its in good shape.
