Hi all!

Just bought a new snare for my kit. It is a 14"/6-1/2" bronze snare with diecast hoops designed here in Denmark by a company called Drumgear.

Here is a recording I did this morning using it

Snare drum recording

Let me hear what you think

great recording and a nice sounding snare. blends perfectly with the kit and the cymbals.

The recording made it sound fake at first.

Great playing, really tasteful. I can tell the snare sounds terrific in person and has a good range.

Thank you :) By the way here is a picture of the drum

The rest of the kit is made by a drumshop in my hometown in the begining of the 90's (am I really that old?). Its maple shells and I've had Yamaha hardware fitted on them. I've experimented a lot with different heads and have finally found the sound I like with emperor heads on the toms and Powerstroke on the kick. I like the open sound so there is no dampening on any of the drums

all the best

Morten
