Roger Taylor of Queen snare drum live

I was watching a broadcast of Queen in the Ukraine with Paul Rodgers and I was looking at Roger taylor's drum kit. His drums were DW but after getting a couple good looks at the kit, I noticed that the snare drum looked to be a Ludwig coliseum snare drum. It was deep with the Ludwig bow tie lugs. It had a coated PS3 on it and it sounded awesome on the TV broadcast. Can anyone else verify this or has anyone seen the Ludwig snare being used by him? I just thought it was interesting that he plays a Ludwig snare after all of these years. Say what you will about Ludwig, they do make great sounding snares.

Well, through some investigating I found that it is a 6.5x14 Ludwig classic maple snare. It sounded GREAT on the TV broadcast. I wouldn't mind picking one of those up, great rock snare sound.

Almost, I guess he still plays a Ludwig snare and he uses a bass drum called a "Sleishman". I don't know what that is, never heard of it. The toms are DW as per wikipedia.
