Other than that, what Gruntersdad said. There is a huge amount of advice here from technique to gear. It's an amazing resource.
 
Gruntersdad is right. You should search a topic on the type of advice that you're looking for, say paradiddle. If that doesn't answer your question, then make a post of what kind of advice you're looking for. Just asking for advice is too broad of a question. Be specific, like, I'm looking for advice on how to play a paradiddle.
 
Advice? Your time is the most important thing. If a drummer's time sucks, that drummer's drumming sucks.

I agree, your time is the most important thing--guard it wisely and don't waste it...
