i wanna know which is better for the money....the se315 is $199 and the SE425 is $299. i need to get in ear monitors and im looking at these two!

SE315 has one driver and SE425 has two if im not wrong.

lastly,do they isolate sound as well as etymotic IEMs??

I can't exactly offer an A/B comparison, but I can tell you that I use the single driver model and get perfetly satisfactory results for live monitoring. I'm not using them for mixing or anything they are not intended for, so the smaller frequency range response is not an issue. I can hear everything I need to hear perfectly well, and the isolation is excellent. My overall volume levels are much lower than with a wedge monitor.

I was issued the Shure SE315 for my Disney gig and these are the best that I've ever worn. Super comfortable and they sound great. I'm not sure how much better the more expensive ones would be if these are meeting my expectations.

I use the SE315's and they work great. I think they're right between entry level and the higher end models, its that good medium for the price. Hope this helps!
