A very special Rogers Superten 1983

I recently picked this up from EBAY.

Rogers 6.5x14, Natural Maple, XP10, ten ply all maple, born on January 26, 1983.

This drum belonged to Gina Schock of The Go-Go's, who was endorsed by Rogers Drums USA at the time. There is an inscription inside the drum signed by John Cermenaro, who was Production Manager at Rogers Drums, USA, at the time.

This drum has green felts under the lugs, and the lug locks, which are original to this particular Superten, were only installed on the Rogers Dynasonic. The drum is all original except for heads. It looks practically brand new.

Enjoy.

very nice that was probably the last of the great Rogers, that snare would look sweet with dad's XP8's same finish, that kit has a 6 1/2" dynasonic which isn't. too shabby either. I've been looking for the 8" maple dyna too match that kit too. maybe someday.
