I've been acquiring Big Beats in the past year and liking them. I'm thinking of unloading the 22" heavy ride as I haven't been using it and am digging the 2002 20" and the 21" Big Beat as more of a washy crashable option.
I'm considering picking up a set of 15" Sig Dark Energy or 15" 602 Dark hats to complement what I have already.

Paistes are easily my favorite cymbals for rock. They make some nice versatile jazz rides, too.

To follow up to my original contribution to this thread…

I have since ordered the following to supplement my growing Paiste cymbal collection:

After all these new additions come in, I’m gonna pause (IN THEORY) with the Paiste purchases and really take the time to get to know my new cymbals. I really like the Dark Energy stuff and could use it for everything and be very pleased with the results, I do find myself missing a slightly brighter & cleaner sound from time to time. Plus it’s good to have options, right?

And now that I’m pretty much a Paiste convert at this point, I’m gonna have a boatload of Zildjians to sell. I’m keeping some of my favorites like my Constantinople rides and move the rest of them onto homes where they will be used.
