Would you spend $200,000 on someone else's custom Ludwigs?

Has Bozzio actually made any records I might have heard of?

I'll give you much of Bozzio's career is spent on playing on less than popular records. Even his stuff with Zappa is not exactly everyday listening material for most people. A lot of Bozzio's recordings are obscure.

However, he also has been on numerous commercially successful albums. Particularly Missing Person's in the 80's.

Missing Persons
1980 : Missing Persons EP
1982 : Spring Session M
1984 : Rhyme & Reason
1986 : Color in Your Life

He also played on Andy Taylor (of Duran Duran) solo song that was a minor hit.

He was on part of Robbie Robertson's 1987 solo album, Robbie Robertson, which was a huge hit at the time.

1989: Jeff Beck’s Guitar Shop with Jeff Beck & Tony Hymas (a great album, which won a grammy that year).

1993: Sex and Religion by Steve Vai

And he was also on 2007's untitled album by Korn.

I have to admit Alex Van Halen has created a lot of unique kits over the years and I remember seeing pictures of this kit when I used to read magazines like Creem and Circus back in the 80s as a kid. But I’m still partial to his classic silver sparkle Ludwig he used on the first two albums. That was just the classic two bass drum set up with added pieces that didn’t add to the vibe of the music they made then. It was understated and cool.

In case you decide to buy the kit, Rolls Royce is building the car to bring them home. Called the "boat tail", three will be built at a price of 2.3 Million Dollars each.
The three Rolls-Royce Boat Tails that they made are estimated to have cost 25 to 28 million dollars each.

So, I figured I could trade in the Toyota, maybe rob a few casinos à la Ocean's Eleven style, marry a Kardashian......:ROFLMAO:

Yep. I had the price incorrect, now corrected. amazing

If I were wealthy enough to have that kind of disposable income, I might consider it. That 's the kit he was playing at the very first concert that I ever attended. It's one of my happiest memories.

Was a BIG fan of AVH back in the day. Still like him but not as much now. As for the 1980 Invasion Tour drum kit & price, thanks but no thanks!

I'd say the only VH instrument that is truly "iconic" is the Frankenstrat.
Alex had a few distinctive kits, and Mike had the Jack Daniel's bass... Maybe not as largely iconic, but still very much associated with VH.

Not in the least.....but if the drums belonged to and were played by Ronnie Tutt then.......YES!!!!!
