getting your bonham vibe on with those bad boys!
So I missed out on the last Yamaha Recording Custom 18" floor tom in Antique Sunburst from the Japanese factory by a day-and-half when I ordered my RC kit in 2012. Eight years of patient searching just paid off. I finally acquired a pristine 18" floor tom and put on new Aquarian heads top and bottom. It was only played twice and stored for years in a studio before I located it. Finding the Aquarian heads during the pandemic almost proved as difficult.

I just got these last week. Probably the first time I avoided maple in the kit. But the two snares are brass and maple. I’m loving the cherry wood!

I've been playing these for years. Love them.
Well, things move in and out all the time. Let’s just say I can say I have experience with every major brand now. I’m not one of those guys that keeps a warehouse stocked with drums and cymbals.Bo, could you tell me how many kits you actually own now?
I'm quite intrigued.
I can just picture it........Kevin absolutely blasting some punk 8th notes on those babies at 180 bpm....... bloody hell.
Dude, if you ever tour to Australia....let me know.
And bring those damn hats with you!!!!
Or at least post a video of you playing them.

Dear heaven! You have been busy. Goes without saying I love the kits but I like the range of sizes across the different kits too. It's been an extravagant month for me, drum-wise. My first new addition was this beautiful Sonor SQ2 medium beech kit. 24x14, 13x9, 16x15, 18x16 in Walnut Brown Burst.

Well, the Reference was around for the longest but between DW, Ludwig, and Pearl, over the last 20 years I’ve owned more DW than anything else.Which of your current kits have you owned the longest?
I am assuming it's Pearl.
I'd love to hear your take on the difference of the Prolite and SQ2 med beech. All 3 kits really look the biz!! That might be the nicest looking Ludwig kit I've ever seen!Thank you, Todd! And this is why I'm having a Prolite fire sale.
