When I'm playing locally and it's my kit, I bring:
- 1-2 pairs of whatever stick I'm using at the moment

- 1 pair of mallets, I don't remember the brand, but they where cheap and I bought them about 11 years ago

- 1 pair of hotrods, I think Wincent made them

- 1-2 pair of brushes, it's been the same since forever. The Vic Firth heritage and Facus Light. I don't need to carry two, I just haven't taken one of them out and put in my long term storage bag yet, it's only been 8 years or so. But today the Facus one broke, so I didn't really need to mention them.

- Im guessing there's a pencil, drum key and a spare hi-hat clutch in there somewhere, I know there exist a metronome somewhere.

Everything that I'm not using because I don't gig. LOL

Basically just different size sticks, brushes, Jazz sticks that I never used that came with the kit that I bought and a extra drum key.

And in my late husband's bag he has mallets if I need them but I like to keep his stuff separate so I know what he touched and used as a drummer. I miss him so much.😭

Shalom,
D'

numerous pairs of "VH" model from balbex sticks, i still have some metal and nylon brushes and hot rods from my old silverfox endorsement that i use when i play acoustic or jazz, but gonna replace them soon with some balbex ones so i can save these from getting damaged further :)

in the pocket of the bag is 2 gibraltar quick release clutches, a pearl quick release clutch, spare pedal cams, felts, washers, sleeves, springs, snare straps, a couple drumkeys and various assorted bits n bobs :)

Just recently discovered how much I love maple sticks so currently I have a stash of models both recently purchased and a few from years ago before I took a bit of a gigging hiatus:

Pro Mark Todd Sucherman signatures
Vater Fusion Maple
Pro Mark Finesse 5B
Vic Firth AH5B
Pro Mark Mike Portnoy 420X (wanted to try the Active Grip after a crazy amount of stick dropping at band practice before I rediscovered larger diameter maples)
Pro Mark Finesse 5A
Vic Firth AH5A
ProMark Stephen Perkins (not a fan of oak but a good option for lower volume)
Vic Firth 5A (strongly prefer maple but I had 1 pair left that wasn't totally chewed up so I kept them)
Unknown brand of light up sticks (Christmas gift from a band leader a few years ago)
Pro Mark Hot Rods
