If I'm not going directly into my Zoom R16, I have a Yamaha O1v console - it sounds great.

I have a Presonus StudioLive 24-4-2 that is permanently hooked up to record my drums.
For mixdown I have a Midas Venice 32-4-2, Logic and a lot of outboard gear.

thx

Allen and Heath Mixwizard 16:2. Works great, sounds great, and has 6 aux sends for monitor headphones.
I don't have a recording setup at home, but I do use the Mixwiz 16:2 series 3 desk extensively. Tons of headroom, properly built machine with superb swept EQ. Our band live desk of choice. Such a better sound than anything else out there I've tried for the price. Effects are excellent quality too :)

I used to have a bunch of rack gear (MOTU, Presonus, RME) running through Logic Pro, but sold it all after a week of using a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.1

In addition to solid software for recording, there are dozens of training videos from Presonus to get you up to speed.
