Something’s wrong around beat 4, but I can’t tell exactly what it is
I'm not sure what you mean by "beat 4". But the longer you played the groove, the more it became sketchy and a little disjointed. Meaning you just need to practice it more so you can do it with more consistency. I'd say the first several bars were pretty darn good. Keep at it. That's not an easy one to do.
It doesn't swing enough. The timing is too 1234 on the grid.

You got it I think! Except it's only one hihat opening the first time on the original... a bit faster of course. Keep in mind it's a highly processed recording (compression, eq etc.)
