Wait wait, can you break it down for those of us with transcription avoidance issues? I love me some old Billy Cobham funk with irregular meters but still learning the technical side of the craft at 50 something. I do appreciate your expertise in dissecting a song though and makes me want to learn it even more!

You're welcome. I probably suffer from the addiction version of TAD. In any case, the transcription above is just a shell for the song layout, a first step toward getting to a more detailed transcription. But it would be useful as is for playing a gig or rehearsal, assuming player's ability and familiarization with the style.

@rhumbagirl dont be angry I am seriously envious ? that you can see the music and I can’t (a long time ago in my youth I could read enough to get through all of my band classes with straight A’s).

Like the matrix it’s there for those who are willing to take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. It’s pretty deep.
