Here is a Tractdrummer getting warmed up before a gig http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aL5nWsrhKs I guess that we will have to change the name of the forum to Tractorworld! Usually the drummer gets plowed at a gig, He doesn't do the plowing! Heres a link for The Big Kit vs Small Kit Thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9T0rHeQcxg&feature=related
Here is a pic of my Drum Kit. It is a three cylinder. Its great for jazz! As you can see from the pic, It drinks three twelve packs before each gig!

It's cool to see how much fun those guys were having, and playing very well too. I wonder how it came about. "Hey, that tractor's keeping good time. Listen to it. Let's play something and see what happens. Billy-Bob, get that video camera."
I also like the microphone on the exhaust pipe.

So, was that groove vs. chops? Where was the MUSICALITY?

Man, i definitely felt it- very classy stuff. those tractor solos, man they blew me away...kept the feel so well and didn't overplay

And had they just kicked it in gear, you would have seen it chops
