Video of my Jazz Playing

Wow! That was awhile back Alex I wouldn’t recognize you compared to today LOL. That was fantastic drumming- I like each solo different and then adding the Latin groove in and out was well played. I also like your snare rolls were open, loud, fast, and clarity like Tony Williams. Often it’s closed fast bop buzz like rolls. Are those musicians still around, and are playing with those musicians to present?

Thanks a lot!!

I´m not sure which are you talking about, since there are 5 pages of videos here, but if you talk about the very first message on page 1, that was in Argentina 1994. And no, I don´t see any of them, but they all continue playing for sure. That was a tour we did with trombone player Conrad Herwig from USA (New York), and the concert was filmed at Municipal Theater of Buenos Aires with my video camera back then.

Thank you once again and all the best!

Little story here...Ryan Kaiser a local jazz trumpet player needs a drummer to lay down some grooves so I get called. Ok..no biggy. I'm a rock drummer who was left eating Ryan's dust...falling out of the clouds without a parachute. A highly embarrassing and humbling evening for me. Never again. NOW..if I could have had YOUR ability?...it would have been a wonderful sit in gig. Your the real deal..im just a rock drummer. I would love to have your ability.

Thank you so much!

It is never too late to continue improving, I always continue every day practicing a lot, and if you are interested, take a lesson and see if it works for you!

Thanks again for your nice words and greetings!

That video of Steve Gadd and Sonny Emory was absolutely outstanding!

Sonny Emory has got such wonderful technique.

I could watch his hands all day.

Thanks for sharing Alex!
