Haah, he could hardly say that if he was on the same train, aye? :D I adore Inverness. I went mostly to see Culloden Field, but Loch Ness, as well. It was a sunny spring day and I went out on a boat called, "The Jacobite." The water was gorgeous, and when I arrived at Urquhart Castle, I nearly had the place to myself (I happened to be traveling alone, that trip). I've been enchanted by Scotland since I was a child, so it was an extraordinary experience.
Or perhaps it's Cockney rhyming slang for male body parts eg. "the batsman misjudged the ball and copped it right in the Duncan and Jules"
Using Cockney rhyming slang, I would think that Duncan and Jules = Rules. As in, "Don't break the Duncan and Jules!" Or perhaps, "Duncan and Jules were made to be broken." ;)
