The 2024 UK Drum Show megathread!

awesome!! was there as usual, excellent place and excellent times!! :D

me and my sister will be there as usual in 4 weeks time at this years show :)

hopefully theres one as well next year but i dont think there will be due to the europe drum show :)
 
Looks like a fun day spent, but in the video, the background music is way too loud, muffling the dialog. Why?

Think its the way it was mixed, listening on my IEMs it seems ok but slightly fuzzy

I don't use head phones of IEMs with my computer, but I wear digital hearing aids. Going to the movies lately is a challenge, because I find the background music way too loud, almost obliterating the dialogue. If it's a British movie, it's twice as hard for me with the accents, sorry to say.
 
Very creative ideas. Thanks for sharing the clip. I like their sound control policy of only 15 minutes per hour play, and the idea of letting drummers play with a live band.
