Tama SC 910 or 310

Guys, want to buy a new pedal and as a long time IC user( first gen ones) I want to stay with Tama.
As I'm not a fast metal player and just play rock, funk, soul, fusion and rnb would you recommend the 910 over the 310
or will the 310 be ok for my needs?

What would the 910 benefit me over the 310?

The 910 is smoother IMO. it comes with a lighter beater, a bearing hinge to prevent the footboard from wiggling. the 910 is a bit pricy, but it's the best of the best of the two

Converted a second hand ic 310 into direct drive

Buy the more expensive one and get it over with. It will last the rest of your lives. Then you can put this issue to bed for good and move on to the next issue. If you don't get the pedal, you'll still be curious about it. So just get it over with. Drum gear isn't THAT expensive compared to other things.

Trying to save a couple of bucks usually backfires.
