So what's on your Christmas list?

Well the time is approaching when relatives and friends will start asking what gifts you'd like for Christmas.

So have you given it any thoughts? If so, what would you like Santa to bring you?

Me? Well here's my list thus far:

Brushes - Vic Firth Heritage http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vic-Firth-R...1444741940&sr=8-1&keywords=vic+firth+heritage

Stick bag - Vic Firth Standard http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vic-Firth-S...444742136&sr=8-1&keywords=vic+firth+stick+bag

Moongel - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Moongel-Dam...e=UTF8&qid=1444823251&sr=8-1&keywords=moongel

Let's get through Halloween and Thanksgiving first.

Get through ... what? Never heard of them!

Martin: it's like feeding horses. There is only one right way, and that's the way you do it.

But since you ask, crash. Probably Amedia Vintage.

CASH.............................
Birthday, Fathers Day, Christmas.....3 x 8 years since I started again, 24 opportunities, and I have only gotten 1 drum related gift. I don't hold my breath.

Halloween I get. Don't celebrate it but I do get it.

Thanksgiving? Nah... :)

They shoot horses, don't they? Crash sounds nice tho...

Ah, yes, cash is always good.

:D

Yes they do, apart from when you are sitting with your soulmate and holding his hoof, and praying that he goes relatively easily.

Ah. I was thinking of the film. Sorry if it's a personal experience you recount. I know how attached to animals we can become.

Not your fault - how could you possibly know? But general joking often touches a sore spot.

Findus lasagne!

Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.

The only Christmas gift that I want this year is to hope my new job that is starting soon is half of what I hope it can be. I've bought my Dad a copy of Paul Gallico's 'The Snow Goose' but I have absolutely no idea what to get Mother...

Gin.

Hmmmmmmmm...

You are a genius! I never doubted otherwise but yes. She is partial. Only ever seen her drunk twice and it was possibly the most entertaining thing I've seen.

Eek, for a minute I thought you were talking about me. And then I read "Only ever seen her drunk twice".

Mother Goose?................

The way this thread's going it wouldn't have surprised me to learn that BFY's mother is a recovering alcoholic.

:)

I am his mother.

And I'm not recovering.
